CA Tax International was established because many mainstream accountants are not knowledgeable about the UK tax implications of being an expat. Here at CA Tax International we specialise in expatriate taxes and are passionate about tax. We use that passion to engage with our clients and ensure their tax liabilities are both appropriate and limited to only what needs to be paid. Nothing brings us greater pride than knowing we have saved our clients time and money by using our expertise to manage their UK tax affairs in an efficient manner.
How do we help our clients?
We provide clients with advice and support on all areas of UK tax residency and domicile and how that impacts on their UK tax affairs, and work with people across all continents – with, of course, the exception of Antarctica as rarely do penguins need to file a tax return!
We understand people’s tax positions are never the same, and therefore by using our extensive knowledge and expertise we are able to work closely with our clients to understand the “big picture” of their individual needs, before drilling into the detail and using the legislation to provide tailored advice which addresses each individual’s specific tax situation.
Meet Our Expert
Dr Laura Sant - MChem, ACA
Managing Partner
With almost a decade's experience of working with expatriates under her belt, Laura Sant established CA Tax international in 2018 as a department within her family’s accountancy firm and is proud to have built it to a point where it is now a brand in its own right.
Prior to training as an accountant, Laura studied Chemistry at the University of Manchester, spending a year studying in Montpellier, France. Having gained a PhD, Laura decided to change her career aspirations and qualify as a chartered accountant. She completed her ICAEW Chartered Accountancy qualification with one of the Big-4, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and due to her language ability, specialised in global mobility tax.
Having previously had large multi-national corporations as clients in her time at PwC, Laura now enjoys having much greater involvement with her current clients and working more closely with them.
